Our approach

Care that doesn't rush you.

Mental health care often feels like a checklist. We slowed it down so the real conversation can happen.

You get time

New patient evaluations are a full hour. That means space to explain what you're experiencing, ask questions, and leave with a plan you understand.

You get honesty

We talk about medications clearly — benefits, tradeoffs, and when they aren't the right first step. No pressure, no surprises.

You get continuity

You see the same provider across visits. We follow your progress, adjust the plan, and stay in touch with your therapist or PCP when it helps.

You get respect

Whether this is your first appointment or your fifth, you're met without judgment. We know asking for help is already a big step.

What we help with

A place for adults and teens who are struggling.

We work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, sleep, mood disorders, and the moments when life feels too heavy to carry alone.

If you're 13 or older and live in Illinois, we can meet you in person or by secure video.

Focus areas

You don't have to name it perfectly.

Many patients come in saying, "something just feels wrong." We evaluate each person as a whole — symptoms, history, goals, and context.

How care works

From booking to follow-up.

A clear, predictable path — so the hardest part of getting care isn't the logistics.

  1. 01

    Book a visit

Request an appointment online or by phone. We'll confirm your insurance and reserve a full hour with a provider.

  2. 02

    Complete intake

Secure forms come to you before the visit — so your first meeting is spent talking, not filling out paperwork.

  3. 03

    Meet your provider

A 60-minute new-patient evaluation in person in Oak Park or by secure telehealth anywhere in Illinois.

  4. 04

    Leave with a plan

You'll understand the next steps: therapy, medication, follow-up schedule, and any coordination with primary care.

Request care as a new patient

Ready to request a visit?

If you've already explored our services and feel like Sanevi might be the right place, this is the fastest way to get on our schedule.

A good fit if

You're in Illinois, 13 or older, seeking psychiatric evaluation, medication management, therapy, or ongoing mental health care — and you're not in a psychiatric emergency. Patients 13–17 will need a parent or guardian involved in scheduling and the first visit.

Not the right fit if

You need emergency care, inpatient hospitalization, same-day crisis response, detox placement, or you are currently outside Illinois.

In a crisis, call 911 or call or text 988. Sanevi is not an emergency service.

Two minutes, no account, no portal. We reply within one business day.

Also available for our patients

Primary care, when your psych care needs it.

Mental health rarely stays neatly in one lane. For established psychiatric patients, we offer coordinated primary care — labs, medication interactions, and everyday health concerns — so nothing falls through the cracks between providers.

Ask about integrated care

Refer a patient

A simple, secure way to send someone our way.

For hospital teams, outpatient clinicians, therapists, PCPs, and community partners. Submit intake notes, med lists, and evaluations once — no fax machine, no phone tag. We'll review the referral and close the loop with you.

FAQ

Common questions.

Still not sure? Call (708) 948-7039 and we'll help you figure out the right first visit.

Do you accept new patients?
Yes. We are currently accepting new adolescent and adult psychiatric patients, both in person in Oak Park and by telehealth across Illinois.
What insurance do you accept?
Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, Cigna, Humana, and Meridian. Don't see yours — call us and we'll check.
Who will I see at my visits?
Sanevi is led by board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners (PMHNP-BC). They are licensed to evaluate, diagnose, and prescribe psychiatric medication in Illinois, and provide the same psychiatric evaluation and medication-management services you would expect from a psychiatrist.
What about patients aged 13–17?
We see patients 13 and older. For teens, a parent or guardian is typically involved in scheduling, insurance, and the first visit. During the initial evaluation, we explain how the teen, parent, and provider will work together — including what information can be kept confidential and what requires guardian involvement. We'll walk you through exactly what to expect when we call to schedule.
Do you offer telehealth?
Yes. Psychiatric visits are available by secure video for patients physically located in Illinois at the time of the visit.
What happens at the first visit?
A full 60-minute evaluation: history, current symptoms, prior treatment, goals, and — if appropriate — a starting plan for medication, therapy, or both.
Does booking guarantee a prescription?
No. Any medication decision follows a clinical evaluation. We treat medication as one tool of several and explain the reasoning behind every recommendation.
Do you also provide primary care?
Coordinated primary care is available to established psychiatric patients — labs, medication interactions, and routine health concerns stay integrated with your mental health care.
What should I do in a crisis?
If you are in immediate danger, call 911. If you are in emotional crisis, call or text 988. Sanevi is not an emergency service.
